Lavazza ¡Tierra! is a premium coffee collection that blends sustainability, wellness, and outstanding flavor. This range reflects Lavazza’s dedication to environmentally conscious coffee cultivation that supports both the planet and its communities. ¡Tierra! for Planet is a premium selection of organic Arabica beans from tropical areas in Africa, Central and South America. The Lavazza Foundation, founded in Turin in 1895, aims to help coffee producers to improve the yield and quality of their products. The Lavazza Foundation educates the coffee producers from these countries on various agricultural techniques to manage the effects of climate change.

¡Tierra! for Amazonia is an organic coffee from Peru, where the Lavazza Foundation is engaged in the protection of the environmental heritage of the Amazon rainforest through consistent reforestation of the region.

¡Tierra! for Africa is an organic coffee born in East Africa, a region where the Lavazza Foundation supports the new generation of farmers training them in the entrepreneurial management of their business.

These coffees are rainforest alliance and organic certified. They have been harvested in compliance with the most stringent European standards for sustainable agriculture that promotes environmental responsibility, social equity and economic sustainability. The ¡Tierra! range is also hand-picked, which shows the first step towards quality assurance in selecting only the ripest coffee cherries, fully enhancing the organoleptic characteristics of the blend. Apart from the vivid colours, the packaging is also designed to help recyclability as it is made from a homogeneous plastic (PP/PE) which is usually favoured for recycling.

Lavazza ¡Tierra! Organic ground coffee is the newest addition to our line-up of organic produce from all around the world, and it won’t be the last.
